MUSEBOX - DR STYLE.
With a lot of Dressing Room/Musebox RP, it's all set in one place - not so here, where everyone could be going about their daily life, but then you turn a corner, close your eyes for a moment, and you're somewhere else entirely. Not to worry, though, since you're bound to wind up back home before too long.
Likewise, you could be going about your business, and then the person who's coming up to you is someone who isn't supposed to exist in your world at all (or maybe they do, but only in fiction, and wouldn't that be strange?).
So, generally speaking:
-Any character may at any time interact with characters from other worlds/'verses/timelines/canon.
-The way they may do so is either by being taken to other people, or by other people being taken to them.
-This counts for both AU 'verses, and canon 'verses.
-RP that takes place in this manner/setting will all be within the same timeline, of a sort; characters may remember things from previous threads and posts.
-If your character goes into another 'verse or world setting (for example, Genesis Rhapsodos going into the Yokohama of BSD) then it's up to the player how that character is going to adapt - if that character is going to be overpowered for the setting, then it's at player discretion how that will be dealt with, either by nerfing their powers in a manner that's still going to make RP fun, or by adapting the character to the new setting.
-There may be times when a player may want to either translate a character's skill set, or leave it unaffected by the world the character is 'visiting' (or, a character that is doing the visiting). Going with the prior example, if Genesis bumps into Dazai, then it's up to the person playing Genesis (as the visiting character) to decide whether any of his powers would count as an "ability" by BSD's standards, and therefore be able to be nullified, or not. In the case of "or not", or something just plain no-selling, characters from the world that's being visited are free to call out that this is Weird Shit.
MUSEBOX - CLOSED STYLE.
Closed style RP is basically exactly what it says on the tin. If you want to RP between characters and you don't want it to be part of the general DR-style musebox setting, just put "Closed" in the subject at the top, as well as in the tags.
Bear in mind that you can also use private journals for this, if you want to.
